The holiday spirit is all around us – including in the quiz show Superpotera. The first episode of 2026 was marked by cakes, tempting offers, brave contestants, and record-breaking moments! Aleksa from Pirot became the record holder of the show by winning an astonishing 2,000,000 dinars.

Young Aleksa Stefanović, a photonics student currently pursuing his master’s degree in Germany, appeared shy at the start of his performance, but he soon left everyone present – as well as viewers at home – speechless.

Calm and “knowledge-driven,” Aleksa answered all five questions in the first game correctly, without much difficulty and with detailed explanations. To make the game even more exciting and reward the knowledge of this young contestant, Milan Bukvić decided to offer an incredible 2,000,000 dinars as the highest amount for a battle against all the Chasers. This was not the first time the Chasers had made such an offer, but it would turn out to be the first time a contestant successfully defended it.

Just like in the first game, Aleksa maintained his composure and focus, and without a single mistake – finishing with a six-second advantage over the Chasers on the clock – he secured the title of Superpotera record holder! As Aleksa tried to collect himself and process his emotions, the studio erupted in applause and praise in his honor.

“This is something that should be present not only in every quiz show, not only in every entertainment program, but in everything a person creates with their spirit and emotion. Pure love, pure emotion. Bravo, Aleksa,” Bukvić said.

“Well done, master,” Macura added, while Milica bowed and said, “Compliments to the skies!”

Memedović was equally delighted and invited Aleksa to return either to Potera or Superpotera, to which the contestant replied: “I’m off into quiz retirement. We’ve done it all – that’s enough. This jacket has been in this studio four times already, I think that’s plenty.”
