The highly anticipated Superpotera finally hit the screens, a new format produced by Adrenalin and Radio Television of Serbia. On its premiere, it was the most-watched program in Serbia at 9 p.m. The first episode featured familiar faces: host Jovan Memedović, Chasers Milica Jokanović, Žarko Stevanović, Milan Bukvić, and former contestant turned new Chaser, Dušan Macura.

In Potera, they were solo players, but now they’re a team: the “knowledge princess,” the world knowledge champion, the promising young talent, and the new “heavy five” a former basketball center from numerous global clubs. Though new to the Chaser role, Macura is well-known to audiences for his impressive quiz show performances.

Beyond the charming banter between the host and Chasers that Potera fans love, the episode offered a glimpse into the dynamics among the Chasers themselves. Milan and Milica exchanged playful jabs, as did Žarko and Dušan, with Memedović adding his signature charm to the mix.

The contestants were also familiar faces. The first episode of Superpotera featured Vladimir Janjić from Vranje, Bogdan Mašojević from Jagodina, Sanja Pavlović from Beočin, Marko Adam from Belgrade, and Nemanja Nešić from Niš.

Marko left the studio after a mistake on the first question, before facing the Chasers. Vladimir and Bogdan qualified for the second round but bravely took on all four Chasers and fell short.

After winning 80,000 dinars in the first game, Sanja chose to face three Chasers – Milica, Milan, and Dušan for a shot at 800,000 dinars. With phenomenal knowledge and focus, she became the first to defeat multiple Chasers! Notably, during her previous Potera appearance, Sanja also made history as the first woman to single-handedly beat a Chaser.

Last up was Nemanja, who won over Serbian audiences in Potera with his motto “I(s)cepi gi svi” (“Rip ‘em all!”). With four correct answers, he carried 80,000 dinars into the second round and, after the Chasers’ offers, chose to face all four for 1,480,000 dinars. Whether he succeeds will be revealed in the next episode!
